Somehow, our editrix Laurie Salerno thinks that providing me with a blog forum is a good idea. We shall see if her trust in me is well placed. I blog elsewhere on the interwebs; www.yankeeoxford.blogspot.com, but that is usually a forum where I post interesting things I've seen in other places around cyberspace.
Here, on Meriden Patch, I will write about things that are of local interest. They may be national events, but will have some sort of local connection. Or, I'll give you a broadside screed opinion about something, and let you all have at it in the comments section.I may even respond to a particularly well written opinion.
