The building was demolished after the partial collapse of a roof over a vacant multifamily home, NBC CT reported. No one was inside the home before it collapsed, and it has been under construction, but no workers were injured, NBC CT reported.

The demolition of the remaining structure was complicated by the fact that occupied buildings were nearby, officials said. The cause of the building collapse is under investigation. (See more photos via NBC CT here).
