Car That Hit Motorcyclist Recovered by Meriden PD

The car is being scanned for evidence.

Meriden Police have recovered the vehicle suspected of hitting a motorcyclist over the weekend on North Avenue.

The blue Mazda 3 was found abandoned by officers in a lot located on Griswold Street. It is unregistered.

Police are working to gather evidence and are pursuing strong leads about the operator’s identity.

The accident on June 7 left the motorcyclist in critical condition. He was flown by Lifestar to Hartford Hospital.
