Child Knocked to Ground During Domestic Disturbance at Milford Mall Involving Meriden Man: Police

Police say a man and woman engaged in a physical altercation at the mall in Milford.

MILFORD, CT — A child was knocked to the ground as two people engaged in a physical altercation at the Connecticut Post Mall in Milford, police said.

Police said on March 24, officers responded to the mall at 1201 Boston Post Road on a report of a possible domestic violence incident. Investigation led to the arrest of Asia Sanders, 20, of Bassett Street in New Haven and Timothy Bell, 22, of Monroe Street in Meriden, who are accused of engaging in a physical altercation with each other while inside of the mall, police said.

Sanders' juvenile child was present during the altercation and was accidentally knocked to the ground, police said.

Sanders and Bell were both charged with second-degree breach of peace and Bell is also charged with risk of injury.

They were both released on a promise to appear in court.
