COMMUNITY OF ANIMAL DOG LOVERS COME TOGETHER TO FIND A MISSING DOG NAMED

ANIMAL LOVER VOLUNTEERS STAND OUT IN THE COLD IN SEARCH OF A DOG NAMED MAX

COMMUNITY OF ANIMAL DOG LOVERS COME TOGETHER TO FIND A MISSING DOG NAMED MAX

Max has been missing from downtown Meriden since early November. Carol Ferrucci, a volunteer with Dog Gone Recovery Volunteers has been helping Max’s owner search for him. They started with social media, posting Max’s picture & information on many animal groups on Facebook as well as Dog Gone Recovery Volunteers page. Then they put up posters all around West Main St, Lewis Ave and side street near Garner St. Unfortunately most posters were torn down. Max’s mom as well as all the volunteers who put up the posters were so disappointed.
Carol learned of “Intersection Alerts” from Missing Pet Partnership. This is where volunteers stand at intersections holding Posters while handing out flyers to people in cars & people walking around, bringing attention to Max. You never know what someone may have seen or someone knows. A group of 8 volunteers stood at the corners of Lewis Ave & West Main and also at West Main & Linsley Ave on Saturday November 29th, handing out around 300 flyers to people driving by. This is a great way to reach a lot of people in a short amount of time.

They plan on doing this again for Max.
They are offering a reward for the safe return of Max, no questions asked. If you know about the whereabouts of Max or have any information, please call

Let’s get Max home for Christmas!
