Cop, Firefighter Injured After Meriden EMS Call Turns into Melee

Three people were arrested. An officer sustained a serious eye injury.

Three people were arrested after an EMS call got violent on Wednesday in Meriden.

EMS responded to a report of an unconscious woman on Orient Street and began CPR, according to Fox CT.

Family members began physically fighting with EMS, according to police.

Officers arrived and found 15 people fighting. One officer was punched in the face and sustained significant injuries.
