Employee Arrested For Stealing Sporting Good Store Items

A man is facing charges after police say he stole items from a store he worked at.

MERIDEN, CT - An employee faces charges after police said he stole items from a Dick's Sporting Goods store, the Record-Journal reported. Jonathan Cahill, 22, of Southington, was charged with with third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny.

Cahill allegedly swiped six pairs of Oakley sunglasses valued at $140 each and only charged a customer $17.38 for items that should have cost $130.
