Talk on Poverty and Homelessness at First United Methodist Church

From the First United Methodist Church:

This coming Sunday, 1/29/12 is our 3rd annual mission Sunday and Stone soup lunch.

Sharlene Kerelejza, the Director of Crysalis and a member of the Meriden/Wallingford Coalition on Housing, is doing a presentation that will address what poverty and homelessness looks like today, what is going on and not going on in our community, and how the faith based community fits in.

She is very dynamic and will surely give us food for thought as we share in a meal.

If you would be willing to donate an item to the soup pot, please bring it to the church between 8 - 9 AM on Sat., 1/28
