It's not too late to get in on a fabulous Wallingford Symphony concert, featuring Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto by a most impressive 16 year old, Jawsper Han. Jasper’s performance will “knock everyone’s socks off,” according to Philip Ventre, Music Director and Wallingford Symphony founder. Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto is considered to be among the most technically difficult works for violin. You can go on line at www.wallingfordsymphony.org, visit Gallagher Travel Shoppe on Center Street, Wallingford, or purchase tickets at the door for the 2 PM concert on Sunday, April 29
Maestro Ventre and the WSO will also feature Modest Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice by Paul Dukas from Walt Disney's beloved classic, which has enthralled children for 72 years! The vision of the mops and buckets coming alive to Mickey Mouse conducting will surely bring back pleasant memories. The WSO will conclude the concert with selections from Hollywood classic films Star Wars, Titanic, Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean.
As a special treat for the family, Magic by Gene the Amazing will entertain families with his awesome feats of prestidigitation!
