Extra Security at Meriden School After Florida Threat

Police will have extra officers stationed at Lincoln Middle School in Meriden to alleviate concerns after a threat was made at a school in Florida.

Meriden Police were made away of a threat to a Lincoln school Monday night, according to the Hartford Courant.

Upon further investigation it was determined and confirmed with police in Tallahassee, Fla. that the threat originated there.

Police say there is no evidence that there is a threat toward a Meriden school.
