Family Fondly Remembers Heroic Meriden Mother Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver
Dania Cedeño Del Rosario was killed while pushing her seven-year-old daughter to safety. A GoFundMe page has been established.

MERIDEN, CT — Dania Cedeño Del Rosario, the 40-year-old mother tragically killed by a hit-and-run driver on Oct. 7, is being remembered by her devastated family as a thankful and thoughtful person, reports the Meriden Record-Journal.
Del Rosario died while heroically saving her seven-year-old daughter's life, and Denisse Guerrero remembers her mother as sometimes being silly when she tried to say certain words in English. Del Rosario was a Dominican native who moved to America three years ago.
A GoFundMe page has been established to help with the costs of funeral arrangements and to set up a scholarship for Denisse. As of Oct. 13, $1,895 had been raised toward a goal of $5,000.
