Family Fun for people and pets at the Central CT Pet Fair, Dog Walk & 5K
Saturday, June 27 in Hubbard Park, Meriden

WHAT: Connecticut Humane Society bets your furry friend would love to have fun in a 2 mile dog walk at the 7th Annual Central CT Pet Fair, Dog Walk & 5K Road Race on Saturday, June 27 at Hubbard Park in Meriden. There’s still time to register your pet for the dog walk or, if you’re a runner sign up for the 5K! Registering is easy at http://bit.ly/CCPetFair . The Pawfect Fashion Show: Dogs can strut their stuff on the ‘catwalk’ in five fun categories, and raise funds for a future dog park in Meriden, Connecticut Humane Society and Meriden Rotary. Register your dog today at http://pawfectfashion.kintera.org

Microchipping Clinic: The Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) will be providing microchipping at the Pet Fair.

· Microchipping 10 a.m. – 1p.m. (at the CVMA tent)

· Home Again Microchips

· Cost to pet owner $30 (cash only) which includes the chip registration

· 50 chips will be available for purchase (first come, first serve)

This event is a partnership between the Connecticut Humane Society and the Meriden Rotary Foundation with the proceeds benefiting the programs at both organizations.

*5K Race Check In & Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
