Fire Destroys Meriden Home

MERIDEN, CT - Firefighters encountered hoarding conditions battling a blaze at a Belvedere Drive home Monday afternoon, according to NBC. The home was a total loss.

One person was in the house at the time and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

Fire officials said there was so much stuff in the house that it made it difficult to find where exactly each pocket of fire was, NBC reported.
