Firefighters Extinguish 3-Alarm Blaze At Meriden Vacant Building
The fire broke out Saturday night.
MERIDEN, CT — Firefighters from several area agencies battled a three-alarm blaze at a vacant building Saturday night, according to a Facebook post by Meriden Fire Local 1148. All Meriden city companies were joined by Wallingford Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 1326, Southington Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 2033, and City of Middletown Professional Firefighters Local 1073.
Firefighters worked throughout the night to extinguish the blaze at 116 Cook Ave. The fire was showing from the building's top-floor windows when firefighters arrived.
