Firefighters: Good Samaritan Saved Meriden Truck Driver

A Good Samaritan pulled a driver from Monday's I-91 fuel tanker crash.

A Good Samaritan helped save a Meriden man yesterday after a fuel tanker truck crashed and caught on fire.

The fuel tanker hit a bridge on I-91 near the Meriden/Wallingford line Monday.

Robert Angiletta’s truck had a mechanical issue, which led to the crash, according to police.
