Guilty Plea in Meriden Child Pornography Case: Report
The defendant has been in custody since last year.

MERIDEN, CT — Mark Irvin, 64, of Meriden, pleaded guilty in court Thursday to one count of first-degree possession of child pornography and two counts each of fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor, reports the Meriden Record-Journal.
The plea was in connection with the charges that Irvin engaged in sexual acts with two boys under the age of 18 between 2012 and 2015. He also was accused of filming the encounters in his Glen Hills Road home.
Irvin is scheduled to be sentenced in November on a related federal child pornography charge. He remains in custody and will serve a minimum of 15 years in prison on the state case and faces as much as 30 years in the federal case.
