Kittens Rescued by Meriden Fire Department

Meriden firefighters made a different kind of rescue Monday. 

Firefighters rescued two kittens trapped in a storm drain pipe on Willow Street, the Meriden Record Journal reports. 

The kittens were in danger because they had fallen into a storm drain and were in a 50-foot long pipe connecting two drains, the Record Journal reports.

Firefighters used a hose to get the kittens to safety.
