Southington police said Crofton was involved in an argument with a woman inside the motel room.

The woman was sitting on the bed eating when Crofton allegedly “charged” her, pushed her back onto the bed and punched her in the nose with a close fist, police said.

The punch bloodied the woman's nose, police said.
