Man Arrested For Assault At Meriden Retail Shop's Parking Lot

MERIDEN, CT - A New Britain man was charged with an assault that took place at the parking lot of Bob's Stores and Eastern Mountain Sports in 2018, the Meriden Record-Journal reported. Edgar Soto, 20, of New Britain, was charged with conspiracy to commit second-degree assault with a firearm and third-degree assault.

Police received a call Aug. 30 that two men, one of whom was Soto, attacked another man in the parking lot, then struck a male employee in the head with a gun, causing it to fire.
