Man Charged In Meriden iPhone Robbery

A Hamden man is facing charges that he stole an iPhone from another man at a local Dunkin' Donuts.

MERIDEN, CT - A man is accused of stealing another man's iPhone at a local Dunkin' Donuts in September. The Record-Journal is reporting that DeAndre Deshields, 21, of Hamden, was charged with second-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit second-degree robbery.

The man told police that he had gone to a Dunkin' Donuts at 255 E. Main St. after connecting with Deshields online about selling his phone. When they met at the store, Deshields allegedly suddenly ran out with the phone.
