Man Reaches Plea Deal For Meriden Police Chase, Drug Charges

A Waterbury man has reached a plea deal with prosecutors.

MERIDEN, CT - A Waterbury man will spend up to three years in prison for leading police on a chase along with drug charges, the Record-Journal reported. Christian Hernandez, 24, pleaded guilty under the Alford Doctrine to two counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell, engaging police in pursuit, and three counts of violation of probation.

The driving charges stem from two incidents in which Hernandez evaded police a a high rate of speed. Read the full story in the Record-Journal.
