Meriden Man Shoots At Girlfriend's Son: Report

The incident occurred on Saturday morning.

MERIDEN, CT — An argument over shower soap Saturday morning allegedly resulted in a 27-year-old Meriden man firing a gun at the son of his girlfriend, while the boy was holding an 11-month-old baby in his arms, reports the Meriden Record-Journal.

Arrested on a host of charges, including reckless endangerment, unlawful discharge of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, was Jose Nieves, according to police.

No injuries were reported. Nieves was released after posting a $350,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on May 1.
