Meriden Dog Park Grand Opening Coming Up

MERIDEN, CT - It's been four years in the making, but the Meriden Dog Park Committee has announced that the Meriden Dog Park will open this month. The park, located at Beaver Pond City Park at 165 Hicks Ave., will hold a celebration Saturday, Aug. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The organization emphasizes that the most important rule for dog park use is that every dog must have a license and rabies vaccination. For more information, go to the dog park's Facebook page or go to theCity of Meriden's page and type "dog license" in the search box.
