Meriden Fire Department Exercises Caution to Make Scenes Safer

Important message from the Meriden Fire Union from their Facebook page:

“After a close call on 691 with one of our firefighters a couple of years ago we now send a minimum of two engine companies to all emergencies on the highways in Meriden to provide for a safer scene for first responders and the people we are there to help. If you see any kind of emergency or service vehicle stopped along the highway please move over and slow down to allow us to be as safe as possible.”
