Meriden Hit With Power Outages Thursday

MERIDEN, CT — More than 1,000 of Eversource's customers in Meriden are without power Thursday morning, as heavy winds sweep through the state.

According to the Eversource power outage map, as of 11:40 a.m., 1,179 of Eversource's 27,719 customers in the city are without service. That accounts for 4 percent of the power company's customer base in Meriden.
