Meriden Humane Society Seeks New Homes for Pair of Mistreated Hamden Dogs

The dogs were abandoned in crates in the woods in Hamden.

Meriden, CT - Two dogs were recently discovered abandoned in crates in the woods in Hamden, and the Meriden Humane Society is helping to find them new homes.

One is a six-year-old Shiba Inu-Terrier mix named "Love," and the other is a three-year-old American Bulldog mix named "Minka," reports the Meriden Record-Journal.

Love is blind, according to the society, and on a special diet. Minka appears to enjoy having her back scratched. Both are house broken and are familiar with basic commands.
