Meriden Man Accused of Struggling with Police, Possessing 90 Bags of Heroin
Police arrested the man after responding to a report of a fight.

A Meriden man faces several charges after police found 90 bags of heroin in his pocket while responding to a report of a fight, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports the man, Angel Rodriguez, was causing a disturbance at a family picnic on Aug. 15 and took a “fighter’s stance” when officers approached him after he appeared to be concealing something.
Rodriguez, 45, of 447 Broad St., was eventually handcuffed and arrested after a struggle and police found the heroin in his pocket, according to the Record-Journal.
