Meriden Man Caught Making Drug Deal: Hamden Police
Hamden Police say the man was in the possession of crack cocaine and was seen making a drug transaction.

HAMDEN — Hamden Police arrested a Meriden man after he was allegedly seen making a drug transaction in the parking lot of a business.
The Hamden Police Department Street Interdiction Team concluded a drug investigation with the arrest of Cornell Tucker at about 6 p.m. on Nov. 18.
Tucker was observed making a drug transaction in the parking lot of a Fairview Avenue business, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said Tucker was in the possession of a bag of crack cocaine.
Hamden Police arrested Tucker, 23, of 21 Prescott Street, Meriden, on charges of possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with the intent to sell.

Tucker, who was detained on a $20,000 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Dec. 3.
