Meriden Man Charged In Assault Of Girlfriend
A local man has been charged following an assault that occurred last year.
MERIDEN, CT - A local man was brought up on charges that he assaulted his girlfriend last year, the Meriden Record-Journal reported. Ramon Cruz, 21, was charged over the weekend with third-degree assault, third-degree strangulation, first-degree unlawful restraint, first-degree reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.

Cruz showed up drunk at his girlfriend's residence one night in October 2017. He was allegedly verbally abusive to her and grabbed her throat and arms.To read the fully story, go to the Record-Journal.
