Meriden Man Charged In Overdose Case
A local man faces manslaughter charges connected to a 2016 drug overdose.

MERIDEN, CT - A local man has been charged with manslaughter for providing drugs to a victim who died in a 2016 overdose, according to the Meriden Record-Journal. William Roberts, 28, has been charged with second-degree manslaughter and three counts of sale of a controlled substance.

The charges stem from a case involving Alex Comforte, 24, who officials said died in 2016 as a result of taking several drugs, including cocaine, cocaethylene, heroin and alprazolam. Read the full story in the Record-Journal.
