Meriden Man Charged With Threatening, Having Stolen Gun

A Meriden man is under arrest after he reportedly threatened to kill a woman with a stolen gun.

MERIDEN, CT - A Meriden man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly threatened to kill a woman with a stolen gun, according to the Meriden Record-Journal. Brett Banks, 39, was arrested on multiple charges including stealing a firearm, interfering with police and driving under the influence.

A woman had called police Sunday night to report that a man in a black Acura was driving under the influence of alcohol. She said the man had also threatened to kill her while her child was in the room.

Police found Banks at a nearby gas station, who attempted to flee and was then arrested. Read the full story in the Record-Journal.
