Meriden Man Enters Guilty Plea On Sex Assault Charges

MERIDEN, CT - A Meriden man will be sentenced following entering a guilty plea in a sexual assault and child pornography case, according to the Meriden Record-Journal. Scott Thieringer, 46, pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual assault in connection with a 2017 case.

He also pleaded no contest to risk of injury to a minor and first-degree possession of child pornography. He was identified as a suspect after Google submitted information to the National Center for Exploited Children about a child pornography case involving a 4-year-old.
