Meriden Man Enters Plea In Threatening, DUI Case
A city man struck a plea deal after he was charged with several crimes.
MERIDEN, CT - A city man has pleaded guilty to threatening, DUI, and weapons possession charges. The Meriden Record-Journal reported that Brett Banks, 39, of 144 Bee St., pleaded guilty via the Alford Doctrine to second-degree threatening, driving under the influence, first-degree threatening, violation of a protective order, criminal possession of a firearm, and interfering with police.
Per a plead deal, Banks will sentenced to 10 years suspended after 30 months with four years of probation. The charges stem from a 2017 domestic disturbance incident and a 2018 DUI.
