Meriden Man Faces Gun Charges: Police

A man is facing charges after police found him walking on South Broad Street with a gun.

MERIDEN, CT — A Meriden man is facing gun charges, according to police. Ralph Falcon III, 30, was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit, and possession of a large capacity magazine.

He was held on $100,000 bond.

According to police, officers spotted Falcon on Tuesday walking on South Broad Street and saw the distinctive outline of a firearm in his waistband. Police said he was carrying a HK VP9, 9mm with a high capacity magazine and twelve rounds of ammunition.
