Meriden Man Fractured Infant's Ribs: Report
A local man was arrested on charges that he broke his infant son's ribs on two occasions.

MERIDEN, CT - A Meriden man has been arrested and faces charges related to fracturing his infant son's ribs, according to the Meriden Record-Journal. Joshua Gonzalez, 28, was charged with risk of injury to a minor, third-degree assault and other charges.
Police were contacted in June by the Connecticut Children's Medical Center after the six-month-old child was brought in and had bruising on his body. The child also had two ribs that had been injured on separate occasions.
The hospital determined that the injuries to the infant were not accidental.
