Meriden Man Nearly Strikes Officers While Fleeing Scene In Cromwell: Report
The man is accused of nearly hitting two officers with his vehicle while fleeing the scene of a drug investigation in Cromwell.

CROMWELL, CT — A Meriden man is accused of nearly striking two Middletown police officers with his vehicle while they were taking part of an inter-agency drug investigation in Cromwell, according to the Middletown Press.
The Press reports that Antwan Tann, 38, of Cook Avenue in Meriden, was recently arrested in connection to the May 4 incident in which police were executing a search warrant at the Fox Glen apartment complex as part of a drug investigation. Tann drove into the complex while detectives were outside the apartment being searched and he is accused of ignoring orders to stop, instead accelerating toward the detectives before fleeing the complex, according to the Middletown Press. The officers were uninjured in the incident.
