Meriden Officer Exposed To Illegal Drugs, Hospitalized: Report
Police said a Meriden officer has been hospitalized after being exposed to a dangerous drug while treating an overdose victim.
MERIDEN, CT — Police said a Meriden officer was hospitalized Thursday after being exposed to illegal drugs while treating an overdose victim, NBC Connecticut reported.
According to NBC Connecticut, police said the officer was exposed to a substance believed to have contained fentanyl, and the officer had to receive NARCAN.
