Meriden Police Capt. Patrick Gaynor Faces Conduct Investigations: Report

Gaynor has been on paid administrative leave since December​.

MERIDEN, CT — Meriden Police Capt. Patrick Gaynor is being investigated for alleged wrongful conduct in a pair of internal affairs cases, reports the Meriden Record-Journal.

Gaynor has been on paid administrative leave since December as the department's internal affairs division and others investigated separate incidents.

One of the cases involves the alleged misappropriation of funds for a course that Gaynor took, and the other involves a retaliation complaint he made against Police Chief Jeffry Cossette.
