The family of Pierre Langlois and the police department are asking for the public's help in finding him.

MERIDEN, CT — The family of 15-year-old Meriden resident Pierre Langlois, and the Meriden Police Department, are asking for the public's help in finding the boy, police announced.

Langlois was the subject of a Silver Alert in September, but whether this is a continuation of that alert, or a new one, was not immediately known.

"Pierre may be under the impression that he is in trouble which could not be further from the truth," police wrote in a statement.
