Meriden Police Continue Search for Shooting Suspect Deon Camp
Camp is accused of a drive-by shooting on Willow Street in Meriden on May 2.

MERIDEN, CT - Local police are continuing to look for Deon Camp, a 23-year-old Meriden resident accused of a drive-by shooting on Willow Street on May 2 that left one man seriously injured.
"Deon Camp is believed to be in the area and we are asking for the public's help in locating him," wrote Meriden police in a statement. "Deon Camp should be considered armed and dangerous."
Police hold active felony warrants for Camp on the following charges:

- Assault in the First Degree
- Reckless Endangerment
- Criminal Possession of Firearm
- Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm
- Carrying a Pistol Without a Permit
Once caught, his bond is court set at $400,000.
"[Camp] is believed to have fired from a moving vehicle at a male; however, the suspect missed his intended target and instead struck a non-involved bystander in the neck, causing serious injury," said police.

Additionally, there is also a PRAWN warrant (Paperless Arrest Warrant Network) for Camp for Failure To Appear in the First Degree with a $20,000.00 Bond.
