Meriden Police, Council of Neighborhoods to Host Local 'National Night Out' in August
The festive event will be held in Hubbard Park.

Meriden, CT - The Meriden Council of Neighborhoods and Meriden Police Department will host the annual "Meriden's National Night Out 2016" from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 2 in Hubbard Park, the two groups announced.
The festive event is "an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-communitypartnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live," writes organizers of the national initiative.
Meriden's event is free and will feature food, children's activities, a DJ and other fun items.
