Meriden Police to Host Police Cadet Awards Ceremony
The Meriden Police Cadet program is specifically designed for local area youths who are interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement.

MERIDEN, CT — The Meriden Police Department will host a Meriden Police Cadet’s Awards Ceremony tomorrow, Nov. 10, at 6:00 p.m. in the Il Monticello Banquet Facility at 577 South Broad St. in Meriden.
The Meriden cadets will be receiving various awards for such things as community service and successful completion of practical skills. They will also be recognized for such things as leadership traits as well as numerous other categories deserving of recognition.
According to officials, the Meriden Police Cadet program is an in-depth, hands-on program specifically designed for local area youths who are interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement.

Among the presenters will be State Representative Hilda Santiago, who will give out several State awards to numerous cadets.
