Meriden Police Investigate Gunfire with Possible Victim
Police are piecing together evidence and one person may have been shot.

MERIDEN, CT - Meriden Police are investigating after gunfire erupted last night in the city.
Police responded in the area of Sherman Avenue and Center Street after getting a report of shots fired, said Sgt. Darrin McKay, police spokesman.

A blue Chrysler was found at the scene unoccupied, but still running. It had been hit by several shots.
A male occupant within the vehicle may have been shot, but police aren’t sure at this time.
