Meriden Police Recover Illegal Firearms, Drugs
Police have executed two critical operations during the last 24 hours.
MERIDEN, CT - Police recovered illegal firearms and drugs and made multiple felony arrests in two recent critical operations.
Police released the following statement on Facebook: "I wanted to take a quick minute to recognize the team work displayed by the Patrol Division, Detective Division, SWAT Team, and the Dispatchers within the past 24 hours. For those who may not be aware, the combined efforts of all involved successfully recovered four (4) illegal firearms from the streets of Meriden, in two (2) critical operations that have taken place within the past 24 hours. Furthermore, multiple felony arrests were made and a considerable amount of drugs were also taken off the streets. The noted incidents are just additional examples of the excellent police work the men and women of our agency perform everyday. Please know that your work is recognized and greatly appreciated. A job well done by all."
