Meriden Police Rescue Kitten from Tree
Teamwork between police and a tree cutting company resulted in a happy ending.
Police got a complaint about a cat stuck in a tree and with a little help from a tree cutting company they got the feline down.
Officer Donna Zurstadt responded to the scene on April 28. A tree cutting crew with Asplundh Tree Cutting Company was happy to help out.
The kitten was removed from a tree branch that was 60 feet in the air.
