Meriden Police Solve a Robbery and Threatening Case
A Meriden man is accused of robbing a delivery person.

Police say Daniel Atkins, 32, of Paddock Avenue, allegedly robbed a delivery driver, and the next day fled and allegedly pulled a knife on him, the Meriden Record Journal reports.
Atkins asked the delivery person to make change for a $50 on July 27 on Colony Street by Honey Spot Pizza. When the driver took out the $50, Atkins allegedly grabbed it and ran away.
The next day the delivery person saw Atkins and chased him into a store where Atkins allegedly displayed a knife and fled, the paper reports.
