Meriden School Children Plant Garden

The school teamed up with the Connecticut Audubon Society on the project.

MERIDEN, CT - Benjamin Franklin School fourth graders got a taste of mother nature recently when they planted a garden at the school, The Meriden Record-Journal reported. The garden includes native species of plants and will be used for educational purposes. The project is an element of a partnership with the Connecticut Audubon Society, which received a $20,000 grant from the state.
