Meriden Woman, 2 Others Arrested for Shoplifting in Milford

The items they allegedly stole included Red Bull and baby formula.

Milford police arrested three Connecticut residents for allegedly shoplifting items from a CVS.

The department’s Narcotics and Vice Unit was on anti-crime patrol April 23 and observed what they called "suspicious activity" at the pharmacy located at 734 Bridgeport Ave. in Milford.

Their investigation found that a shoplifting had occurred, which the detectives said they interrupted.

Taken into custody were Michelle Ripani, 26 of Metacomet Road in Meriden; Michael Lusardo, 28, of Charlson Lane in Hamden, and Dean Goss, 31, of Bishop Street in North Haven.

Police said the following stolen items were allegedly found in their vehicle: 33 cases of Red Bull energy drinks, 13 cans of baby formula and five pairs of jeans.

The stolen merchandise totaled more than $800.

Ripani and Lusardo were charged with sixth-degree larceny and sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny.

Goss was charged with sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny.

The three were released on a promise to appear in Milford Court May 17.
