Meriden Woman Hit By Car at Rocky Hill Plaza Dies (Updated)
Police said that the victim was hit in the plaza's parking lot at 80 Town Line Road.

ROCKY HILL, CT - A Meriden woman died after police said she was struck by a motor vehicle in a shopping plaza in Rocky Hill on Wednesday afternoon, WFSB has reported.
Police said 55-year-old Sandra Scully was hit by a truck in the parking lot at 80 Town Line Rd., which is the Stop & Shop plaza, around noon.

Scully was hit by a home improvement truck and was dragged toward the back of the truck, police said.
Police said Scully was rushed to a hospital where she died from her injuries on Thursday evening.

A woman was seriously injured Wednesday after being hit by a pickup truck in front of the Town Line Road Stop & Shop, police said.
The incident took place at about 12:20 p.m., Fox61 is reporting.
A pickup truck rolled over her and she became pinned underneath, Lt. Brian Klett told FOX 61.
She had life-threatening injuries and was taken to Hartford Hospital, he added.
The victim's nephew identified her as Sandy Scully, 55.
The driver is cooperating with the investigation, police told the station. Police are still investigating what happened, Klett said.

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in local parking lot on Wednesday, WTNH is reporting.
Police told the station that the person was hit in the Rocky Hill Plaza's parking lot at 80 Town Line Road.
The cause of the crash and the identity of the victim and driver is also unknown, police said.
