Meriden Woman Illegally Cashed a Dozen Years Worth of Social Security Checks: Report
You won't believe whose checks she allegedly cashed.

MERIDEN, CT — A 61-year-old Meriden woman was arrested on larceny and identity theft charges for allegedly cashing $50,000 worth of Social Security checks from her deceased father, who died in 2004, according to police.
Federal and local law enforcement discovered that Nancy Papallo allegedly continued to cash the checks from the time her father died until 2015, reports the Meriden Record-Journal.
She was released after posting a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 7.
